Advantages: cheaper for more.

Disadvantages: dont taste as good.

In my house, we eat a lot of crisps, especially my son who happily wolfs down packet after packet if I let him, so buying the most expensive ones like walkers can be a bit of a struggle. I saw these in ASDA and thought that I would give them a try after trying a lot of ASDA products that were nice. I normally hog all of the cheese and onion flavour from the walkers packs, so these were the ones I thought I'd get because they're normally the first gone in my house.


NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION:

In every 25g packet there is:
-544 kilojoules of energy,
-1.4g of protein,
- 13.4g of carbohydrates,
-7.9g of fat,
-0.9g of fibre,
-0.15g of sodium.


I very much like cheese and onion flavoured crisps, but these didn't really cut it for me. They didn't taste the same as walkers, which you wouldn't expect anyway really because they're much cheaper, but I didn't like them. The aren't as strong as walkers, which my daughter prefers, but I don't. There seems to be less flavouring on the crisps, they're not as yellow as walkers but again, they are much cheaper.

In ASDA, a packet of 8 of these will cost £1.35 and until December they're 3 for £3.00. Walkers cost £1.25 for six packets which isn't much more, but it' still a price difference.

My daughter won't eat these at school or when she's out because she said they make her breath smell, so beware of this if you're worried about your breathe or have kids that are.

To be honest, for the small price difference, I wouldn't get these, I would just buy walkers because I prefer them, but these are OK. I would rather get the more expensive ones for the better taste, but there isn't a big difference really, so if you need to spend a little more, then these are worth it. Worth the try I guess.

Summary: These are OK, but you might as well get the walkers ones that taste better,
