Asda Deep Pan 10" Pizza - Hot &Spicy Chicken (460g)



I wish I could give this pizza more than five stars; it is the best pizza ever. This is a kind of fresh pizza that you can't keep in the fridge for more than six or seven days, but it can be kept in the freezer for a whole month. I bought it last week when I purchased all my groceries online from Asda. It is sold for £2.38 and it can be on offer along with other kinds of Asda deep pan pizza; 3 for £5.00. If you have enough space in your freezer, go for this offer.


This pizza can be cooked in the oven for 12-14 minutes, after you remove all the packaging. This pizza comes in a plastic cover inside a cardboard box which can be recycled.


The base is fluffy and not too thick, but the topping is the best of all. It is topped with a very yummy hot and spicy tomato sauce, covered with two kinds of cheese, and chicken pieces with red pepper slices on top. Normally, I don't like cooked pepper very much, but in this pizza, choosing red pepper in particular was excellent. The tomato sauce is medium hot, but the red pepper slices themselves are not hot. The combination of the hot sauce and cooked chicken pieces is so delicious, although I wished the chicken pieces were more; they are only 8%. Still, they are also cooked in a hot and spicy sauce and this makes them more delicious.


This pizza contains gluten, milk, wheat, and possible traces of nuts and seeds, yet it does not have hydrogenated fat. However, only ½ the pizza gives you 538 calories, so you should be careful, although I would say that it is very filling. I'm glad I tried this one, and I definitely recommend it.
