Advantages: Creamy texture

Disadvantages: Lots of calories

This extra special Lemon Curd Yogurt is a very nice treat even if it does have a whopping 257 calories in each pot. I have always liked lemon curd as a flavour and I was not disappointed with this yogurt. I rarely bu ready flavoured ones preferring to mix fruit with natural youghurt to create flavours however I thought I would give this one a try.

It is made from Jersey milk and has a rich creamy texture to it however it is not over thick and it ver light on the spoon. The lemon curd does give it a slightly tart flavour and you can certainly taste the lemon however after a couple of spoon fulls it became a lot sweeter to my pallette.

The lemon flavour comes from concentrated lemon juice and lemon peel and there were a couple of very small bits of peel in the white creamy yoghurt.

It was certainly nice however it is not something I would buy on a regular basis in fact I would be more likely to buy the yoghurt and lemon curd seperately and then mix the two, certaily that would probably be cheaper as this small pot cost 49 pence to buy.

Summary: Lemon curd yogurt.
