I've been to Asda and stocked up on yet more sweet treats.... This time I was more adventurous and went for Asda Fizzy Cherry Cola Bottles ... ***Packaging*** The sweets come in a red and purple plastic bag. Cherry Cola Bottles is emblazoned over the front of the packaging. There is also a clear cut out plastic window on the front of the packaging so you can see the sweets inside of the wrapper. When opening these sweets it is worth just tearing a corner off the bag. If you open them fully because the cola bottle are covered in sugar I find that the excess sugar ends up spilling out of the bag and ending up everywhere (more ... Read the complete review

I love sweets, I can often be found with a glass of white wine and a strawberry lace hanging languidly out the side of it (disgusting I know!) but on the recent pre-camping food shop I bee-lined for the sweet section - after all sweets are a necessity on any long car journey. I was as mesmerised as a child looking at all the quirky named and coloured packets. Asda do three packets for £1 or 39p each which is really good value and means that you can get something for everyone. Fizzy cherry cola bottles are always going to be a carload pleaser, the packet has been updated since the one shown in the Dooyoo picture and shows some cartoon cherry bottles fizzing ... I love fizzy sweets but I will normally stick to Haribo because I find that most other sweets tend to fail when it comes to texture and fizziness. The only problem is that I love cherry cola bottles and Haribo don't seem to make them so I thought I'd try a bag of these. The bottles are relatively thick and are brown and red in colour. They are shaped like the average cola bottle and are covered in lots of big grains of granulated sugar. On opening the bag you get a nice cola scent with a background hint of cherries. My mouth starts to water and I'm dying to eat one! The flavour of these bottles are brilliant; they deliver without a doubt. ... Read the complete review

My neice visited today with her little boy and when they'd gone I noticed he'd left behind a bag of sweets from Asda, I am not a big sweet eater but since they left these have been calling me so here I am throwing caution to the wind with this packet of Fizzy Cherry Cola Bottles. They're really very tasty, they are shaped like the Cola Bottles my daughter used to buy loose as a child and covered in large sugar granules. The bottle fizzes nicely in my mouth, the sugar dissolves and leaves me with a chewy jelly sweet that is both sweet and slightly sour at the same time. The flavour is much the same as Cherry Coca Cola in that it has a strong cola ... Read the complete review

As alot of you will know I love anything that has a cherry taste, wether it is juice or wether it is sweets, I go mad for them. So when I was walking around my local Asda and noticed these on the shelf I had to give them a try. The cost of these are very reasonable at roughly 38p for a single pack, or sometimes when they are on offer you can get 3 for £1. The contents of the bag weigh 100g, and this gives you roughly 20-30 sweets, I dont know exactly as I didnt couunt them, probably because they didnt last long enough! The taste of these are excellent, but not as fizzy as I would have liked, sometimes anything with a cherry flavour can be really ... Read the complete review
