Advantages: Convenient, cheap and tasty

Disadvantages: If overcooked it will be horrible

This big bag of frozen corn offers great value, and great convenience, especially when compared to the tinned alternative. With a tin, you have to use it all, or faff about putting the rest into a plastic tub for the fridge.

With a bag of frozen stuff you can simply take out what you need and leave the rest in the freezer. The frozen stuff is also far far cheaper that buying tinned sweetcorn.

It does require slightly more care in cooking it than tinned stuff - tinned stuff just needs to be slightly warmed, whereas this needs to be cooked from frozen. If cooking it in the microwave, be sure to cook it in a loosely covered container (such as a bowl with a plate resting in top) to keep the steam in, and don't overcook it or it will end up tough and nasty (if the kernels start bursting you've cooked it too much!).

Throw some into a pasta sauce, or with some rice n veg, and you have cheap, healthy food with little effort required.

Summary: Great value, and adds a bit of colour and variety to all kinds of meals
