Asda Fruit & Grain Cinammon and Apple cereal bars

So as the 'credit crunch' dominates the news it's only to be expected that we all look to save a few pennies where we can. This is how the Asda Fruit and Grain Bar Variety Pack found its way in my shopping trolley. The Kelloggs nutri grain bars are usually part of my weekly shop as I keep one in my handbag whilst out and about with my daughter to stop me impulse buying sweets when were out and about.They usually cost around the £2 mark for 8 bars so when I saw this ASDA variety pack along the shelf at £2.18 for 18 bars there was no way I wasnt going to try them! I adore cereal and cereal bars, it's almost impossible not to. Although I usually prefer the 'chewy' kind, now and again I like the softer, oaty bars. Usually, I'd head for the brands with Kellogg's Nutri-Grain, but when I discovered Asda's own version, Fruit & Grain. They offer a selection of delicious flavours, one of the most appealing being the Apple and Cinnamon.
