I was devastated when I couldn't locate my local scrumptious fromage frais yoghurt in Asda; I'd become quite addicted to its splendid taste! However, I decided to let it pass, and opted to try the Natural Yoghurt from the same 'Good For You range'; there was every chance that it was just as splendid! Studying the packaging when I sat myself down at the table, yoghurt in front of me, there was no indication whatsoever as to what the contents looked like. The tub itself was white, with green lines and black text (not very entertaining!). The lid has a cartoon image of blades of grass, with a yellow glow around it, to promote a fresh, nature effect I ... Read the complete review

~~~~~~~~~~The Product ~~~~~~~~~~~ Asda's own Natural Yoghurt comes from their 'Good for you' range and is a truly fantastic product. It comes in a 200g tub, which is white in colour, with orange and green labeling. The tub is recyclable. Retailing at 49p for 200g, this yoghurt is also great for vegatarians. It has no added arteficial colours or preservatives, contains only 3% fat and 53 calories per 100g. It seems slightly thin for a natural yoghurt but this does not take from the full flavour which you get in every spoonful. This product is also available in greek style and Virtually fat free and I would highly ... Read the complete review
The Asda Good For You Yoghurt is sold in the pot shown in the product description with one slight, but important difference, they have obviously lowered the yoghurt's fat content as it is now advertised (and confirmed by the nutritional data) that it has less than 1% fat. Consdering this is a low fat product it does not shout it's credentials very loudly but relies on your knowledge of the brand. The smaller petals on the pot proclaims that it has no hidden nasties and on the lid this is further explained as it containing no artificial colours or flavours, or aspartame or hydrogenated fat. On trying to find out what it did contain all I could find was a small box ... Read the complete review
asda,s natural yoghurt is a must have in the fridge, its so reasonably priced as well so you don,t have to worry about breaking the budget. it comes in a handy 200g container . The consistency is quite rich, not watery like some budget priced yoghurts, and is so versatile i am always finding new uses for it, I enjoy my scrambled eggs, but to give it an extra special twist add a good tablespoonful of this wonderful creation, and chop up a few spring onions, its a great healthy dish and a good filler, its also an easy way to get some goodness into the kids without them even knowing,( we have to be crafty sometimes dont we parents?) and have you tried adding a ...
