 ... have thrown the packet away). This meal costs £2.44 if you buy it by itself, but you can purchase 2 'Good for You' ready meals for £4.00, which makes it better value. I would much prefer to pay a little more for a meal like this which is made from decent ingredients and has some positive benefits for your health, than to pay half the price for a value ready meal which is packed full of salt and has very few vegetables or meat pieces in it. I would give it three and a half stars overall....more

This meal is part of Asda's Good for You range which is lower in fat and calories than regular ranges. The meal is described as 'Soft noodles topped with succulent strips of beef in an aromatic ginger and soy sauce with shiitake mushrooms, choi sum, sugar snap peas and water chestnuts'. This meal can be cooked directly from frozen, which is good as it means you don't have to plan ahead and defrost it. The meal should be cooked in a microwave and it only takes around ten minutes overall, with a bit of stirring half way through. I was impressed with the meal size.
