Although this is expensive for a ready meal, I do think it is worth it (especially for £2) and it isn't really a 'proper' ready meal - this is what I tell myself to justify the spending anyway! Overall, I definitely recommend this product, it's perfect for having in your freezer for when you want a quick balanced meal, and ideal for those trying to lose a few pounds but still want a good meal inside them!...more

~*~ Asda Salmon Meal ~*~ I am one of those annoying people that "can't" cook and has no intention of learning (actually, had any intention of learning until recently when I was shamed into it, but I shall save that for another review!). I therefore like to ensure that I have a good stock of ready meals and quick dishes that are as healthy as possible, and this one from Asda is definitely one of my favourites! The product description is "Atlantic salmon fillet steamed with lemon and cracked black pepper butter served on a bed of charlotte potatoes, broccoli florets, baby spinach leaves and fine green beans". As part of the health kick that myself and my husband is partaking of I am increasingly finding it difficult to constantly cater for my families dinner needs. As part of that problem I have been purchasing some of the delicious looking meals that are part of the "good for you" range that is made by Asda, although in fairness when I picked this one up it was not the one I thought it was, but never mind, here goes anyway!
