... into a healthy eating plan. This is in the Freezer section next to all the other Desserts and costs a mere £1. The packaging is alright. Nothing that special, but who cares about the box, in my opinion. It is a square cardboard box and has the normal loverly looking picture on the front. The box is mostly white but with the Good For You Logo up the top in it's green and yellow colourings - in my view it looks like a flower design. The other colouring on here is very light orange, which is probably to go with the Ma...more

Premium Review Asda Mandarin Cheesecake: GREAT PRICED TANGY DESSERT (380 words)

I know a lot of people think that Cheesecake is yukky (well in my friends and family circle they do!), but I like the odd slice of this. I first got to liking Cheesecake when I used to stay at my then best friend Kirty's house when I was about 12. Her mum used to buy a Lemon Cheesecake from Marks and Spencer and it was so yummy, so I used to have the odd treat of it when I was at her house. You get this in Asda and it is part of their Good For You range, so it has fewer calories and less fat than the standard version of Asda Cheesecake, so can perhaps be incorporated into a healthy eating plan. This is in the Freezer section next to all the other Desserts and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Good for you mandarin cheesecake. (361 words)

This mandarin cheesecake is great value for money, not only is it in the good for you range from the freezer but is also only £1; my household is a little fussy on different flavours one liking chocolate the other toffee and fruit, so at this price I can get a few different flavours in. If you fancy something fruity this hits the spot, I have to say the good for you goes out the window as when I have mine as I have a big helping of double cream. The cheesecake has a rich vanilla filling that sits on a crunchy biscuit base and the topping has mandarin pieces which are coated in a lovely mandarin sauce. The combination of the four is just mouth watering and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Yum.. (193 words)

A few months back we had people round for a meal in the evening, and after a delicious dish, we still had room for dessert - just! The cheese cake had been thawing for an hour or so, and was just about ready to be enjoyed! This served the four of us with just under a half left, so its a fair size! The bottom has a very fine but very crumbly biscuit base. The cheesecake section is the next, which is quite pale and very frothy. On the top you have fruit coullis with real mandarin slices on the top of that. They looked very refreshing and quite large. Taking a bite,I was most impressed! The biscuit, though thin, was rich in flavour and sugary sweet. The ...  Read the complete review
