Advantages: Cheap, tasty after a while, easy to smuggle into cinema

Disadvantages: Not enough in a pack, not as good as named brands

I have a Cineworld Unlimited Card so go to the cinema a lot and there is no way I am going to be paying the extravagant cinema prices for a bag of Skittles or Maltesers and the dry popcorn that they serve up. So I had a look in my local Asda and came across their own brand of milk chocolate buttons which are free from artificial flavourings and suitable for vegetarians.

They come in a bright blue packaging with a massive chocolate button picture on the front of the pack which makes them pretty unmissable on the supermarket shelf. What makes these chocolate buttons even more appealing is that you can get 3 bags for £1, each bag consisting of 70g so you are getting a fair few and good value for money.

The taste is a light tasting chocolate with quite a strong aftertaste. I find to get the full flavour of chocolate I have to put a few in my mouth to get the taste buds flowing! Reflecting on this to me it shows that the buttons themselves are exactly what you are paying for them - average buttons which to get the full chocolate flavour of you have to have more than one. I do find that I end up eating the whole packet and I could probably carry on from there with more packets but I have to resist! These are not the greatest tasting buttons when you have a single one but eating a few at a time hits the spot. I would recommend giving these a go to anyone who is a chocoholic who in these hard times is looking for something a little cheaper. They are great and easy to sneak into the cinema! Good times!

Summary: In these hard times well worth a try
