Description: Whole peanuts covered in delicious milk chocolate.

... such like), which is such a bonus if you have a big family or are having a party. They taste absolutely delicious, but worse than salted nuts, these are incredibly addictive and be carefuly as it is so easy to scoff the whole bag before you know it (or maybe it's just me and my disgusting lack of will power)! The only dispute I do have with them is that they aren't fair trade and they come in plastic (non recyclable) packaging. It would be perfect if they came in little cardboard packets like Poppets! But I won't c...more

Premium Review Asda Milk Chocolate Peanuts: A Classic Delight (417 words)

Asda Classic Favourites Milk Chocolate Peanuts (200g) This is one of the treats I buy every single time I buy my groceries online from Asda. This is because it combines the best two nutritional miracles; peanuts and chocolate. This 200g bag can be bought for 48p only, but it is on offer now 3 for £2.00. Needless to say, nobody would be interested in taking advantage of this offer because buying a single bag would be less expensive. At 48p for the 200g bag, it is considered very cheap, especially if you compare it to M&M's peanuts, which is £1.64 for the 250g, although they are in a way similar products. Even if you choose to buy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I'm nuts about them! (Cringe) (310 words)

Why do packets of nuts always have 'may contain traces of nuts' written on the ingredients? Strange. Anyway, these Asda chocolate coated peanuts are really delicious and are suitable for vegetarians (surprisingly, not all chocolate coated nuts are, especially swiss and belgian chocolate ones). These are also free from artificial colours and contain Soyabeans (which are really good for you if you are a veggie). They cost around 67p for 200g packet but nearly every time I have been to Asda, these are always on offer (3 for 2 and such like), which is such a bonus if you have a big family or are having a party. Premium Review Asda Milk Chocolate Peanuts: Yow nutter! (243 words)

I am a chocolate peanut freak and although my favourite, bestest, bestest, ever chocolate peanuts are M&M's I do buy these to keep on top of my craving because they are much cheaper. They cost 48p for a 200g bag but I tend to get 3 for a £1. Yes I admit I'm a pig! The thing is once you get started on these you just can't stop. They are so moreish and I would give a hundred pounds to someone who could eat them one at a time because I sure as hell can't! I pour them by the tens into my little paw and shove them all into my mouth rather greedily. You get the mixture of the crunchy peanuts and the lovely chocolate and as you crunch on it all becomes one big ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nuts for these (169 words)

Asda do a lot of delicious sweets in their own range, and one of these is their CHocolate Peanuts. What this product is is quite simple - little peanuts, which are a pale shade, covered in a nice pale thick layer of milk chocolate. Thic chocolate is quite soft, and if you suck on one of the little chocolate peanuts, the chocolate melts quite quickly so it means you are left with just the nut. The nut becomes slightly stained with chocolate, leaving it with a permanent sweet taste! These cost just 38p per 100g bag, which initself is quite reasonable! However, you can also buy three bags of these, or choose two other in the same range, and pay just ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Milk Chocolate Peanuts: Moorish but Why? (171 words)
by - written on 23/08/08 (Useful, 38 readings)

I tried these over at friends the other day and found myself eating nearly the whole packet even though I didn't find them that nice. I think these chocolates are extremely Moorish once you get a taste for them and knowing how fattening peanuts are just on their own I dread to think what I consumed after eating most of the Asda's own chocolate peanuts. I'm really not sure what makes these so addictive because the chocolate covering had practically no flavour and tasted very cheap also it didn't do anything to complement the strong flavour of the peanuts, which was sometimes so overpowering I think I just ate another to take the taste away, which is a vicious ...  Read the complete review
