      Nice pizza!

When my boyfriend comes to see me he's really difficult to feed hence the reason why we eat out and have take aways so often. He's a fussy eater and theres more in life he won't eat than will when i come to think about it lol!

I know that he likes a plain cheese & tomato pizza but buying this was risky cos he tends to like really cheap and economy pizzas and this being stonebaked is a bit different for him!

      The Packaging:

Brown box with a photograph of the pizza on the front of it and I'm told that it is Asda Organics Italian Stonebaked Cheese & Tomato Pizza 'An Italian pizza base made to an authentic stonebaked recipe, topped with a rich tomato sauce and mozzarella' and that it is an oven cook pizza only, is suitable for vegetarians, there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there and the weight is stated which is 300g. Other information on the box includes ingredients and allergy advice being given, a full nutritional chart and storage advice is listed, cooking instructions are given and contact details for Asda are stated. Inside the pizza is covered by a clear plastic wrapper and is sat on a white cardboard round and all in all everything is well packaged.

      The Pizza Itself:

Round and thin with plenty of visible tomato puree on it and grated cheese you simply pop this in the oven for 10-12 minutes and from frozen. It cooks well in that time, melts the cheese and went slightly brown looking.

The pizza looked good enough, was easy to cut and I was impressed with the overall size of it. The base was stonebaked and you could see that by looking at the base of the pizza and it was doughy but plain in flavour. The tomato sauce/puree went moist through cooking though not runny or anything and had a very slight taste of garlic and oregano to it. The cheese was mozzarella and not too rubbery but slightly creamy and went well with the rest of the pizza flavour wise. I felt that there was a lot of topping on it and for a pound a pizza that it offered excellent value for money and really did have a good quality feel taste and appearance to it and both me and my mega fussy boyfriend rather enjoyed it!
