Advantages: filling, cheap. nice flavour

Disadvantages: little difficult peeling the film cover.

I got this in a three for £1.50 whilst doing on online shop and browsing the mulitibuys. I had never really noticed them as I tend to be a little lazy and just go straight for the products I know or something I recognise when I am actually shopping in the store. As I am trying to be more sensible with money I thought that these would be useful for lunches at work and also simple enough for even my husband to prepare.

To prepare you have to peel back the lid and pour in boiling water and this is the only major problem I had as the lid did not peel easily for me the first few I had. My husband did not have this problem so may just have been me. You leave for five minutes and then stir it.

I was suprised how much I enjoyed the tomato and herb flavour as for the price I really was not expecting there to be much flavour. I have not tried the others yet which are chicken and mushroom and also cheese and broccoli.

These are low in fat which did not particularly influence me to buy them but I know some people look for this. They are a good size as they are quite neat and will fit easily in with your lunch. But they really are filling which I was not really expecting from a small pot. There is quite a bit of pasta and the sauce is not too watery, there is a line to tell you how much water to put in. So overall I would recommend this as it is filling for the price and easy to prepare with no major disadvantages.

Summary: Brilliant credit crunch lunch.
