Advantages: So cheap, and tasty too!

Disadvantages: Very dark!

I'm not a brand name buyer. I don't understand why anyone would pay over the odds for something that you can get for much, much cheaper. This is especially the case when it comes to beans. My mum will only buy Heinz and Im not judging her for that but when these beans cost just 20p a tin why bother.
I feel like I'm repeating my self but this time last year my husband and I decided to get serious and pay off our debt, so we cut our shopping bill in half.
We were already buying Asda's smartprice beans but our load was about to be doubled when my husband painstakingly decided that every single day for lunch he would have beans on toast. As much as I like beans I just couldn't follow him in his actions. For a start no one would want to come and visit us if both of us were stinking the house out and secondly I only fancy beans once in a while. (I'm obviously not as committed to the cause as my husband!) That once in a while came around two days a go when I was deciding what to make my son and I for lunch.
I have to say that they are a little darker in colour than other baked beans I've seen but they taste lovely. There is just enough tomato sauce and I was left thoroughly satisfied after eating them.
Recently I have tried Morrison's own brand beans and they were horrible. The sauce was really watery and literally looked as if someone had run them under a tap for a few seconds.
Over all I'd recommend these beans to anyone who is money conscious.

Summary: Much better than other supermarket own brands I've tried
