Disadvantages: Slightly more sweeter than other leading brands

I use to always be a little bit of a snob when it comes to beans - when i lived at home we use to only have Heniz in the cupboard and when i eventually moved out i continue to buy heniz i couldnt do any other brand.

Then one month when i'd been living on my own a while and the only substanstil thing i would eat was beans - was also feeling the pinch from being out all the time - so i put aside my snobbery and bought 5 tins of smart price beans for £1 rather than 4 tins of Heniz beans for £1.50 (not much more i know but it is when you skint!)

And i have to say i was quite susprised at how nice these where.

You can taste the difference has Heniz has thicker and juicer juice where as these are not as and a little sweeter but needless to say they were still filling and thoroughly enjoyable.

Then one night i was actually watching a programme about packing of potatoes for supermarkets and found that the more pricer brands are package first and the cheapest last - however they were still the same crop it's just that the packaging and the production is cheaper - this is the same with beans!!

Possibly a bit of knowledge you didnt know about :)

Now when ever i'm feeling the pinch when do my 'big' monthly shop, i always go for these - you cant go wrong there still beans beans are good for your heart the more you eat the more you..............!
