Advantages: very good price and good taste

Disadvantages: not the richest of sauce

Smart price baked beans in tomato sauce is in a 420g tin for 29p (I say this has gone up over the last couple of months but then has every other shop brand)
As a big fan of cheap dinners for my family these are must in my house, I have tried other value beans and they taste like cheap beans hard and the sauce is more like flavoured water than tomato sauce. But for me asda beans are the best.

The tins of beans always have a good shelf life on them so they are a great store cupboard food. Once open they can be kept in the fridge for 2 days. The instructions on the tin say to heat in microwave for 3 minutes but I never found this long enough for my liking, u can also heat in a pan if you don't have microwave.

The tin can be reclyed so this is good for the environment. The packaging is basic but a lot better than most value range as these have picture on them which for me is good if I want the children to help me get the ingredients out for dinner

Over all wonderful buy

Summary: a great store cupboard food
