I'm eating one as I write this. . First of all, looking at the previous ratings for this product, I'm really suprised that it hasn't received higher ratings. These yoghurts are a regular on my weekly shop, and cost 32p for four pots. The packaging is relatively standard, and design is in line with the ASDA Smart Price range (a white background, with green writing and trim), with a simple picture of a broken chocolate cube on the front. Another important factor to mousses is the texture, and I am fairly impressed with this product. Not overly thick, but light, which, in my opinion, is exactly what you want from a mousse. I really enjoy ... Read the complete review

I picked some of these up from Asda earlier today. For the last couple of months, I'd been shopping at Sainsburys, as it was nearer to my home and I wanted to try out their range of products, but today was to cold for walking to the supermarket, and once I was on the bus, I figured I'd get the most out of my bus fare and go to Asda instead . I like to save my pennies! So, imagine the look on my face when , after months of shopping elsewhere, I noticed how expensive Asda is on some of their smart-price stuff - These were 32p for 4 , with their Sainsbury's rivals coming in at just 25p for 4. These pots are quite dull, white plastic with the green and ... Read the complete review

Being a student with a sweet tooth : a cheap treat is a luxury in my books. Whilst ordering for my shopping online (I don't have a car), I decided to treat myself on some non essential food, as it was so cheap and from the economy range! Amongst some other sweet value treats (which I will also review in the future) I bought a four pack of the Asda Smartprice Chocolate Mousse which cost me just 32p! A bargain. Obviously the packaging wasn't amazingly pretty - the standard white and green signature colours with the text and a small image of a broken chocolate cube. I found that the actual cartons holding the mousse were not very sturdy and when ... Read the complete review

I am one of those people who is regularly looking for a little 'tit-bit' or snack after my evening meal at night time. My evening meal quite often consists of soup or a sandwich or something similar which many people would regard as more of a snack than a meal. The main reason for this is that I have problems with my appetite and am seldom hungry at night time. If I have only had a snack-sized meal at night time, I often 'top this up' with a pudding or something afterwards. I am a fan therefore, of mousse desserts, puddings, angel delight and similar items. I buy things like this regularly for the days when I just cannot face a large meal at night time and ... Read the complete review

At 30p for a pack of four the Asda Smartprice chocolate mousses have to be worth trying. If you take into consideration that Cadbury's chocolate mousses are retailing at 99p for four and the delicious Aero chocolate mousses are above that at around £1.10 for a four pack there would be a substantial saving to be made. I do tend to be a bit of a sceptic and find it hard to believe that anyone can manufacture a product for so little and it can end up on our supermarket shelves for a pittance and still be a product that is worthwhile purchasing. The Smartprice packaging is simplicity itself, a combination of clean lines and just the two colours, ... Read the complete review
