Advantages: Cheap and as good as the leading brands
Disadvantages: None
I am a regular asda shopper and will always tend to buy their own brands due to they taste just as good as the leading brands if not better at times.
These biscuits are exactly the same as the more expensive brands but are in different packaging. They have the same pattern on the biscuit part and the cream is just as tasty too.
These happen to be my childrens favourite nicey and I can understand why, when I eat one I have to keep eating them until I make myself feel sick. My son loves to have a few with his cup of tea before bed and they are brilliant as a snack for them in the day while they are waiting for their lunch or dinner, just as long as they don't eat too many.
These don't come in the most attractive packaging and some people would avoid purchasing them thinking they are cheap and nasty. You get approximately 20 in a pack for 38p. They are not the healthiest past time but if eaten in moderation I can't see a problem with them. They fill half of my biscuit tin and between the other biscuits that I buy to fill it they will last about a week but at this price I really don't mind.
I would suggest to give them a try and not to be put off by the package or the fact that they are cheap, they are good value for money and keep the chldren happy.
Summary: Perfect nice snack that costs pennies

- 23/08/09 I found this absolutely no different to a premium priced custard cream so they are a bargain. |
