Advantages: taste good, good for dunking in tea, CHEAP!!

Disadvantages: very high in calories

Biscuits go down a treat in our household, lovely with a cup of tea. Custard Creams are one of my long-time favourites and so seeing these on the shelf in Asda really took my fancy. At just 30p per huge packet of around 40-50 biscuits you just can not go wrong.

These sweet treats are just that - but not such a 'treat for me' in that I eat probably four of these with every cuppa (and I love my tea). They are sweet but not to the extent where they taste like they are full of sugar. The cream centre is delicious and sandwiched bwteen two crunchy biscuits.

On dunking the biscuit sandwich goes soggy, but the cream filling holds it all together nicely.

They are VERY high in calories for a small biscuit - 61 calories each!!! This is a lot, so those following a 'calorie controlled diet' should watch how many of these they consume!!!

These are great biscuits at a great price, definitely worth a try for all you biscuit lovers!
