Advantages: taste great, brilliant price.

Disadvantages: very high calories!

Biscuits don't last very long in our household with me, my son and my daughter munching on them. Custard Creams aren't really my favourite biscuits, but my daughter likes them so I decided to try these. I saw these in ASDA for just 30p for a fairly big pack of about 40 biscuit so thought it was definitely worth a try.

The biscuit itself is a creamy centre sandwiched by two crunchy biscuits. They're the same as bourbons but not chocolate basically. I did try a few and ended up munching on them as well as my daughter and they are actually really nice.

When you dunk the biscuit, the biscuit part goes soggy, but the cream filling holds it all together so it doesn't drop apart in your tea!

Each biscuit contains about 60 calories, a nightmare for anyone on a diet so I felt a bit bad eating these to be honest. I think that the calorie content is really high for a biscuit like these, but they do taste great so I guess it is worth it.

The contrast between the blander tasting crunchy biscuit and the soft sweet filling is really nice and tastes great, they're really nice. I'm not mad on buying smartprice, but I'd never buy the brand ones when these are so cheap and so nice! I thought they'd be a bit nasty or funny tasting, but no, they're lovely.

I'd recommend these to friends because they are brilliant value for money and they taste great. Even if you don't like them and end up throwing them all away - which is unlikely - you still have only lost 30p so it's worth trying them anyway.

I do think that there should be a warning on the packet of these though - Warning - Addictive biscuits inside. :)

Summary: A graet biscuit but high in calories.
