I am not a great fan of digestive however Mcvites has been my favourite digestive choice for quite a some time. Few days back I tried this variant from Asda to see if there is anything new in this.

It is wrapped around in an archetypal red package and you can appreciate the design as ASDA is mentioned fairly clearly with attractive digestive on the front generating an interest to go for it.

On the first bite itself I find it bland but I liked the way the biscuit held itself as it was quite crunchy. I wouldn't really suggest these to eat right away from the packet as it will taste dry and insipid. I have tried this biscuit few times with tea and find it reasonably dunk able. I would say the biscuits are ideal for family use during a tea party as they are good to be used in conjunction with tea.

Of course you can not complain about these looking at smarter price range but with around 70 calories per biscuit you might have to think twice before replacing your regular digestive permanently.

Summary: Try for a variation but difficult to make it customary choice
