My only problem is the fact that I can eat a whole packet once they have been opened, so I only buy one packet a week as I would live off of these if I had the chance. **** Introduction **** I am not a huge fan of biscuits but ever since I was I child I have been really fond of Mcvities fruit short bread biscuits or fly biscuits, as my dad used to call them to keep us kids away from them. It was as the years went past I then realized they were fruit bits and not flies contained in them and I have eaten them ever since. One of the biscuits my mam likes to keep the barrel topped up with, much to my delight, are the Asda Smart Price Fruit shorties. They're incredibly amazing, but why...? Fruit shorties are rounded biscuits with a flowery-like edge. They're a pale brown shade and through them you can see little specks of raisin fruits. They do have a slightly sugary aroma, but unfortunately nothing special! When you bite into the biscuit, you'll notice how crumbly they are. They taste quite strongly of sugary sweetness, though nothing too sickly. The raisin pieces are very strong and give the biscuit a nice and chewy unique texture too.
