Advantages: nice taste, just right amount of ginger and sweetness combo. Good for morning sickness

While I was pregnant last year I suffered awful morning sickness (actually any time of day sickness) and felt really ill if I did not have something in my hand to eat. I used to keep Asda Smartprice Ginger Nuts by the side of my bed in the biscuit tin. Sadly it is a habit I can not get out off. lol! The properties of ginger are supposed to help keep the feelings of nausea at bay and these certainly did the trick.

At 34p for 300g pack thay work out slightly cheaper than Asdas own at around 52p for a slightly larger pack. I actually discovered these at work when one of the girls in the office brought them in and filled the tin up with Smartprice, unknown to us, biscuits (she was the only one who knew I was pregnant at that point and thought she would slying help me out with the ginger thing - knowing I couldn't get enough!). After about my sixth biscuit I told her they were nice and asked her were she got them from and then my unhealthy obsession with these biscuits began.

They are nice and firm biscuits, crunchy the way biscuits should be, just the right amount of sweetness and a very yummy hint of ginger, which certaintly did help keep the nausea at bay. At 46 calories per biscuit they can be lethal though.

Very nice biscuits, recommended for pregnant women! And everyone else of course.. wouldn't want you to miss out.
