Andrew loves Ginger nuts so if I'm doing an online shop then I will pick some up for him. These biscuits are part of the Asda Smartprice range and cost just 36p per packet.

In the packet you get around 20 biscuits that are circular in shape and look very much the same as any other ginger nut biscuit. The bottom is flat with the slightly rounded edge and the top has lots of lines going randomly over the surface. The biscuits are good size and are fairly thick.

On opening the packet the smell of ginger radiates through the air and gets your tastebuds watering. I'm not really a dunker especially when it comes to these because I find that the ginger gets my mouth quite hot so don't want to add to the heat with a hot brew.

The biscuits are really crunchy and have that slightly hard edge so you need to take quite a bite. They are rather sugary but the ginger is quite strong although not too overpowering. The easily dissolve in the mouth and are extremely addictive leaving me to consume over half the packet.

These are just as good as any other cheap brand ginger nuts I've tried and they come highly recommended from me!
