As you may have noticed from some of my other reviews, i am trying to lose a bit of weight to feel a bit better about myself. Its hard going especially finding low fat things i can eat that taste nice. One of the products that i regularly buy from Asda is their Smart Price Low Fat Strawberry Yoghurts. This yoghurt pulls no punches, yes, it looks basic sitting there in its ASDA Smart Price pot, but wait till you get it open.. As I have said (and I'm sure you can see), the yoghurt comes in a basic pot and standard Smart Price packaging (the white background and green trim combination), so you know what your dealing with. I bought a ... Read the complete review

My mum has been buying these cheap strawberry yogurts from Asda for ages but the naff pot has always put me off so the first time I tried them was today when I fancied a yogurt and these were all that was there. I've tried the Tesco Value yogurts and they were proper nasty but these aren't bad! The only thing that says it's a cheap ... Read the complete review

This yogurt is available seperately for 9p or in a pack of 6 yogurts, consisting of 3 different flavours - Strawberry, Peach, and Black Cherry. They are marketed as "low fat" and each 125g pot contains 98 calories and 0.9g of fat. They also contain no artifical colours, flavours or preservatives, and no hydrogenated fat. However ... I am trying to loose weight but I do feel a little put out not being able to have some thing after my dinner when every one else has a pudding, so the ideal thing for me is a low fat yoghurt. But as a mum on a tight budget spending 52p on a Muller light yoghurt is really out of the question as I might go through 10 yoghurts a week so that would be ... Read the complete review

Instead of buying Muller lights I sometimes pick up a few of these. They are available from Asda and cost just 28p. You can buy them individually or they come in packs of four. I must admit I was quite dubious when I first saw them because they don't exactly look very appetising in the green and white, very plain pot but I was plesantly ... Read the complete review

Everybody is shopping on a budget these days and this is another one of the products that I've tried in my bid to save a few pennies and still enjoy the things that I like! The yoghurt pot is simple in design with the familiar green and white smart price logo and is a plastic tub with a foil lid (don't forget to scrape that yoghurt ... Read the complete review

First of all I will tell you that I absoutly love yogurts, and will always have one with my sandwich at lunchtime. However with the recession (which I am sure we are all aware of!) I decided it was time to try and cut down on some of the non essentials. To be honest I didnt really think I would be impressed with these as they were only 9p ... Read the complete review

I have to say, i was pleasantly surprised at these yogurts. As with most people that buy smart price products, you really do take a chance when you are trying any of these "CHEAP" products for the first time. i buy the pack of six normally (3 x black cherry and 3 x strawberry). personally i prefer the black cherry but the strawberry ... With food prices rising, I've had to economise a lot on food, downgrading premium brands to stores own brand where able, to make my money last longer - especially with christmas coming up soon and presents needing to be purchased . The usual yogurts we buy are the 4 of the Asda Smartprice variety, unfortunately it seems they have discontinued these so we decided to try the individual pots for 10p a pot. We all eat a lot of yogurts in our house so having something cheap yet tasty was important to us. The packaging is the typical smartprice packaging, white and ... Read the complete review

BACKGROUND I love yogurts – especially Strawberry, but find that branded yogurts tend to be a bit expensive.
