I am always on a mission to save a few pennies whilst still being able to treat myself to the things that I enjoy in life! These biscuits are a prime example of one of my cost savings! These biscuits cost 25p at present and you will receive about 15-16 biscuits for your money. Each biscuit contains around 35-40 calories and 1.5g of fat so these aren't too bad providing you stick to two or three with your tea rather than eating half the packet as I have sometimes been known to do! These biscuits taste just like more expensive branded rich tea biscuits and are a similar size and are also circle in shape. They have that distinctly almost cakey kind ... Read the complete review

Due to my lack of funds and the credit crunch, I try to opt for the cheap products lately and give them ago. However for many years now I have eaten 'Asda Smart Price Rich Tea Biscuits' and I love how nice they taste and how cheap they are! As I love them so much I have decided to write a review for them! The biscuits come in a typical asda smart price package, the rest as their other smart price products. However, the picture up there shows the biscuits to be red but they are now green on the packaging. On the package it has the asda smart price logo, and 'Rich Tea Biscuits' below the logo. The price of these biscuits are cheap as they are an asda ... Read the complete review

Although I normally shop in Tesco's I happened to pop into Asda the other day whilst I was in town and took my time to look at what they had to offer. I decided to try one or two items from their Smart Price range. I have been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of some of the Tesco Value options and I wanted to know if Asda Smart Price was as good. As a diabetic I rarely buy nice biscuits to keep in the house as I know that I wouldn't be able to resist eating them and the result would not be good for my blood sugar. I do, however, keep some plain biscuits in the biscuit tin as I sometimes have a couple at bedtime if I feel a bit peckish so that I won't ... Read the complete review

Firstly, although Dooyoo have put 'Rice Tea' in the product listing, this is a review for Rich Tea biscuits, which is a.) what are shown in that picture up there, and b.) what the other review in this category is about. Just wanted to make that clear before I get accused of writing the review in the wrong place! Now, like many people at the moment I have been trying to save money on my food shopping. I'm not afraid to try budget brands, and in fact several years ago when I was in a stage of my life which I now refer to as 'on my arse' (meaning, 'couldn't get any lower') and I had to do my food shopping on £7 a week for both me and a dog, so as you can imagine, ... Rich Tea biscuits are probably seen as one of the most boring out of all the biscuits on the shelf but I actually really like them. I am partial to the cheaper brands most of the time and these cost 25p for a 300g packet from Asda. The biscuits are the same in appearance as every other rich tea out there. They have a tanned colour to them and to be quite honest they look pretty boring and unimaginative. They are quite thick and 'snap' in half with a bit of force so I could tell that they were going to be nice and crunchy. The biscuits have a sweet taste to them but don't overwhelm the mouth with flavour. I think a lot of people probably think they ... Read the complete review
