Advantages: Cheap, healthy, budget brand

Disadvantages: large tin size

The above pictured tin, along with the Asda Smartprice frozen sweetcorn, is one of my favourite veggie bargains. As a student, I focus on finding the line between cheap, and tasty nutritious food on all occasions. The Smartprice range may add fat and badness to their ready meals in attempt to cut costs, but by my logic there isn't much you can do to sweetcorn. This is a staple in my cupboard (or freezer) For snack, with a little cheese grated on top - or to mix into stirfrys and pasta, suitable for any meal. The sweetcorn is juicy, sweet and by all accounts just as nutritious as the more expensive tinned brands, so in this case I urge you to overlook any preconceptions of budget branding - this sweetcorn is as good as any. The only problem I can think of is that the tins are fairly large, so if you open a tin you have to be prepared for sweetcorn in everything for the next couple of days!

Summary: Just as good as other brands!

I'm sorry for the low rating but I'd have liked to have read more about your opinion of this specific product, no offence your review was just a little generalised.
