Sweetcorn isnt the most exciting item in the world to write a review on I must admit, but I shall make a valiant attempt to try and extol its virtues in this write up about Asda Smart Price Sweetcorn. The can isnt the most dazzling on the market as you can see from the picture above. It is a basic, no frills design that wont jump out ... Read the complete review

Asda Smart price range is great and the sweetcorn is another great addition. If like me you add sweetcorn to various meals that you are cooking and you are trying to keep the costs down I would definately recommend these to you. The sweetcorn comes in a 324g tin for 34p which is a very reasonable sized tin especially for the money and ... Read the complete review

Overview ----------- This item is great when your looking to save money in your shopping basket. It tastes great, lasts for ages and the can is massive, making sure you get plenty of sweetcorn for your money. Price ------ Obviously, as with most ASDA smartprice goods, the best aspect has to be the price. It is ... Read the complete review

Review of Asda Smart Price Sweetcorn. This review covers canned sweetcorn from the Asda economy budget range, known as Smart Price. Along with many other supermarkets budget lines, Asda's Smart Price is a range of lower priced, simply packaged basic items. As I am restricted to a tight budget nowadays, I have been buying more and more ... Read the complete review

Asda Smart Price Sweetcorn is something I have only recently got involved in. Its 34p for a 324g tin and thats enough to feed four people easily, as its a fairly large tin. Ok so how does it look, well its not a looker by any means, in its ugly white and green packing, the tin screams discount brand, it looks cheap and immediately you ... Read the complete review

I love sweetcorn and could eat it for every meal but Green Giant is proper expensive at the minute so my mum thought she'd try the Asda Smart Price one because it's only 34p for a 326g tin and that's even cheaper than the very small tin of Green Giant so that's a wicked saving because I eat sweetcorn most days and so does my ... Many Asda smart price products are genuine bargains and of decent quality but recently on trying a tin of their smart price sweetcorn, I felt very let down and disappointed. The thing with sweetcorn is that it is nice and sweet, well not this one, this one is bland and very brittle. The bright yellow colour you would ... Read the complete review

If you are a sweetcorn buff, you will know that a tin of green giant (despite their cute adverts) is quite pricey, costing sometimes up to £1 for the larger tins. Of course, when in the supermarket and you see this little beauty next to it for just 34p, you've got to ask yourself if the extra cost is really worth it. I'm happy to report, that in ... My attack on the shopping list is in full swing, I have tried and tested various brands and stuck with a lot of smart price and value items. Another one I have stuck with is Smart Price Sweetcorn from ASDA. Dressed in an ordinary tin can with a green and white label, it proudly declares it is a cheap brand. Who cares eh, it's only ... While in Asda at the weekend I bought some of their Smart Price products as I have heard good reports about them. The Smart Price sweetcorn is priced at just 34p for a 326g tin and while this size would ordinarily be too large I was planning a stew one day, Bolognese the next and have several tins of tuna in the cupboard so hopefully the ... At just 19p a tin, these are undoubtedly a real bargain. I can't help but think that this is the sort of thing where you don't need a brand name- surely sweetcorn is sweetcorn isn't it? So these pieces of sweetcorn are presented in salted water, which preserves them. Because of this, you open the tin to bright yellow and fresh looking ... Read the complete review

Now, then. Tinned sweet corn. Not a lot to say? - Think again. Awesome in your tuna sandwich, or on a salad with some smart price beetroot. Very little difference in quality between this and the other brands, much of which is mostly down to the level of sugar and salt in the water. Eating straight from the ... Read the complete review

In the current economic climate, you may often find it necessary to go easy on the big brands and try something a little cheaper. Now there are certain ASDA Smartprice products that I would not recommend buying, such as the products that some people are funny about. I'm talking about alcoholic products, meat-based products, baked goods, bathroom ... Read the complete review

The above pictured tin, along with the Asda Smartprice frozen sweetcorn, is one of my favourite veggie bargains. As a student, I focus on finding the line between cheap, and tasty nutritious food on all occasions. The Smartprice range may add fat and badness to their ready meals in attempt to cut costs, but by my logic there isn't much you can do ... Read the complete review

I bought three small tins of Asda sweetcorn as part of an online shopping basket some time ago. I know that tinned sweetcorn would never beat the taste and freshness of corn on the cob but I thought that a tin of sweet corn would come in handy now and again for salad or pasta dishes. In particular I often use it as part of a tuna and pasta dish, ... Read the complete review

Tinned sweet corn has never really appealed to me and when I didn't have fresh corn on the cob to cook, I have always used frozen sweet corn kernels, but after trying the Asda Smartprice tinned version, I have changed my mind. I can't see how something like tinned sweetcorn would taste much different from name brand to cheap brand, which is why I buy Asda's Smartprice sweetcorn. It costs just 19p for a big tin and is obviously only available at Asda. The sweetcorn comes in the white and green tin that is typical of the Smartprice range and the bits of corn ...
