Advantages: Cheap..................

Disadvantages: Greasy taste; They crisp up but don't go fluffy; Boring

I've never been so embarressed but I recommended these to my mum, my mate and the bloke next door and everyone brought some based on 2 reviews I read on here. I've had to say sorry for EVER suggesting anyone brought these because they might be cheap but they're the naffest yorkshire puddings I've ever tasted.

They're a lot smaller than other yorkshires and feel greasy even when they're frozen. They cook through nice in about 4 minutes and they all went a nice golden brown, the bottoms stayed a bit pale but when you've filled them with gravy that doesn't matter! lol

The problem is they taste really bad. They're greasy tasting and even though they have gone crunchy they're not fluffy at all inside, the bottoms of them go proper slimey in the gravy but they don't soak the gravy up and go all nice and mushy like Aunt Bessies.

I didn't think the taste was that good either, it was boring and just tasted of batter instead of the classic yorkshire pudding taste. My mate said she hated them and my dad didn't even bother eating his, he's not mad for yorkshire pudding anyway but always has a fork full even if he doesn't eat the full one. The look of these didn't appeal to him at all and when he heard the rest of us complaining about them he just didn't bother even cutting a bit off.

My mum muttered something about believing everything you read, lol, and I'm not saying anyone is wrong but these weren't the yorkshire puddings for us. It's one of them things that we'd rather pay the full price for a decent brand than save money on cheapo versions.

Summary: The Might Be Cheap But They're Not Cheerful!

Icelands are quite nice and so are the new frozen Bisto ones. I usually buy Aunt Bessies though if I cant be bothered making them myself. I will avoid these Thanks!
