Asda is one of Britains largest supermarkets owned by the very large American chain Wal Mart. Asda like many other supermarkets has it's own brand of products called Smart price. As prices soar accross Britain for one thing or another food prices have also been hit and so when it comes to food shopping after buying all the essentials it pays to economise by buying more of the shop's own branded products and save a few pounds.

One such product that I have bought recently is Asda's smart price Bourbon Creams Biscuits. Biscuits may not be an essential everyday item and be classed as a luxury but, for £0.18 pence for 200g (about 15 biscuits) I fail to see the luxury price. They are exceptional value for money and look and taste every bit as normal as Asda's regular Bourbon biscuits.

Bourbon's have a chocolate crisp outer layer with a soft chocolate creamy interior. Rectangular in shape and perfectly sized for picking up and dunking in your cup of tea. Whilst biscuits may not be very good for you (what is these days?) they are certainly fine as a cheap treat and only contain 65 calories per biscuit.

The packaging may be a little plain but that is why you are paying £0.18 pence, besides once they are in the biscuit tin who is going to know?

A great biscuit treat at a smart little price.
