Advantages: Able to lick the middle with ease, cheap and cheerful

Asda have a great Smart Price section where they sell a variety of products at reduced rates. One of the products, which I must say I have become accustomed to purchasing on my weekly trip to Asda, have been Bourbon Cream Biscuits. These biscuits cost 17p which, in this day and age, is fantastic value.

They come in a very basic green and white packaging which isn't the most attractive but I suppose that's not what you're paying for. There are about 16 biscuits in each packet of 200g.

I'm sure as you're reading this review you are aware of what a bourbon biscuit consists of but, if not, they consist of two layers of milk chocolate biscuit and a chocolate cream filling in between. I have had many varieties of bourbon biscuits but these are by far my favourite not just for the fact of their fantastic value but also their taste. They have a very strong after taste which keeps you getting that chocolate sensation. People may not be a fan of this but I love to take off one half of the biscuit and lick the cream in the middle. I have found this very hard with some varieties of bourbons but with these ones I find it very easy and 9 times out of 10 the chocolate filling is left intact for me to lick away to my heart's content.

I'd recommend these biscuits to anyone who is a fan of bourbons who has not tried this variety at such a great price to go out and do so. I would love to see what you guys think. Smart Price is the way to go!!
