My ideal pudding is cake and cream or cake and ice cream. Usually if I have a craving I will buy a pack of big chocolate muffins and some double cream. I'm ashamed to say I end up eating the lot then feeling bad because of the amount of calories I've consumed. Anyway not the other day I had a craving and I was odering our weekly Asda shop online. My checkout bill was already throught the roof so I thought I had best keep it as cheap as I could. I came across these swiss rolls for just 15p. I thought that would be ideal and instead of cream I'd use my sons full fat milk as a substitute. In my mind the plan was brilliant! It would be great and all for just 15p!

The Asda shop arrived and I unwrapped the cake. It didn't smell too chocolately but that didn't put me off. I put it in a bowl with some cream and sat down in front of the telly. I took my first mouthful and knew that my plan was ruined. The cake was awful. The cream was so sweet and sickly it ruined the actual cake. It didn't taste of chocolate much and to me the texture felt like a cake that had gone slightly stale. I'd like to tell you that I immediately walked out to the bin and chucked the whole thing away but I didn't. I ate the lot because there was no substitute. I had no biscuits in the cupboard, no sweeties in the sweet jar........there was nothing! You can't start something then not finish it you know? Well that my excuse anyway!

Even for just 15p I wouldn't recommend you to buy this cake it's not worth the pain!

Summary: Don't buy it, its cheap and tasteless.
