When I saw this product on dooyoo food section I knew that id have to give it a quick review, that is because I was a bit shocked to see that it only had three stars. Now, being a fairly cheap product perhaps people have rated it low on the quality but I still think the quality is above three stars, and the price being so cheap easily balances it out as well.

The smart price chocolate Swiss roll can be bought at any asdas for an unbelievable 13p. Yes just 13p for a whole log of Swiss roll. There not the biggest thing but for 13p they are really big and can feed about 4 or 5 people which is great.

In terms of quality and taste, obviously being so cheap its not going to be up to the likes of waitroses chocolate rolls however they do taste really nice. The chocolate sponge is very well flavoured and very soft and spongy and the white cream in the middle of the layers tastes really creamy and mixes the two layers together well.

These are a fantastic thing to buy if you fancy something chocolaty or fancy a bit of a pudding but don't want to spend a lot on them. You can feed many people on one of these at a fraction of the price of a chocolate bar, or a packet of biscuits, at 13p you just cant go wrong.
