So in a time to calories ratio they're probably better than a packet of crisps, because 4 of these (which is the equivalent to one pack of crisps) will last you way longer than a packet of Walkers. I prefer these chewy type toffees to something like Wethers Originals, a hard boiled toffee sweet, because I find Wethers taste sickly and remind me of old people. This toffee is very sweet, but isn't sickly, it has a nice buttery taste. They are hard sweets, but as soon as you start to chew they soften up nicely, an...more

Toffee is something I only buy on rare occasions, I like it, but for some reason it's never high on my list of priorities. I won't say I'm the world's largest toffee lover but I do like a bit now and then and my parents and younger brother absolutely love it. So when I spotted Asda's Diary Toffee for a bargain price of 36p I dropped a bag into my basket along with a few other things to enjoy whilst watching a film that night. Asda's Dairy Toffee comes in a very simple a cheap looking 175g bag, but then again the product is cheap. The bag is white and green with a clear window on the front, though which you can see the sweets inside. The name of the sweets in printed in plain green along with the information that the sweets contain no artificial colours flavours or aspartame and ...  Read the complete review
