Premium Review Asda Smartprice New Potatoes In Salted Water: Easy way to peeled pots (163 words)

At just 22p for a 550 gram jar, these new potatoes are certainly well priced, but what about the taste. The best thing in my opinion about these is they are peeled already, which saves a lot of effort for me (I hate peeling potatoes). The worst thing is they can be of all different sizes which makes them hard to cook ...  Read the complete review

Now these are one of the Asda Smart Price range products which are just as good as any tinned new potatoes. Only these have an advantage- they are sold in a huge tin (550g!) for only 26p. Thats over HALF A KILO of tinned product for 26p! Once opened the tin contains salted water and a decent amount of potatoes which are skinned and ...  Read the complete review

Not the ideal way to buy potatoes but at least these are new potatoes and having a tin in stock does come in handy for making soups etc. They are in essence a canned vegetable convenience food. They are also very cheap at 29p per can and for many will represent a good value buy. The potatoes are of various sizes and come stuffed in a ...  Read the complete review

My partner and I got home quite late last night and as we were both ravenous I was looking for a quick and easy dinner to make for us both, instead of running round to the chip shop (my partner's suggestion... tsk tsk!). I rummaged through my freezer to see what little delights were waiting in there for me, and settled on a packet of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Smartprice New Potatoes In Salted Water: Cheap And Good Quality, Perfect For Potato Salad (300 words)

I sometimes use tinned potatoes when I am making a stew, or a casserole because it's fast and easy to do. Previously I have been buying branded ones, believing that I was getting better quality. However, when I saw these for 22p at Asda, I decided to give them a try. The green and white can is 345g and is full to the top with potatoes ...  Read the complete review

These new potatoes from Asda are a great little find. They cost just 22p for 550g and I always have a tin in the cupboard for a quick convienient addition to meals. When you open the tin you will see that the potatoes are a nice cream colour because they have already been peeled which is one of the most attractive things about tinned ...  Read the complete review

Asda Smartprice new potatoes in salted water come provided in an aluminium can with a white & green paper label which shows the nutritional information & cooking instructions which are all simple to read and the can looks very simple.
