Asda Smartprice Pineapple Pieces In Syrup

The pineapple tastes very ... more  ... fresh and doesn't have those hard bits in it that you get with some tinned pineapple. It looks very yellow and although each piece is soft enough to eat, it isn't soggy.
The only thing that is a little annoying about this product is the fact that you don't know until you open the tin, whether the pieces are big or small. Sometimes I have bought them for a party so I can make cheese and pineapple with them but I haven't been able to do it because the pieces haven't been substantial enough. I love pineapple but I can't stand buying it fresh because I just can't cut it up. It takes ages and my knives are all blunt so this doesn't make the job any easier. If I fancy something refreshing then I will always go for a tin of pineapple because it's quick and convenient and most of all it's good for lazy people like me! I am not one for buying name brands and I will always try the Smartprice range before making a decision as to whether I will stick with it or not.
