Advantages: Good value, easy to prepare

Disadvantages: Not the nicest ravioli on the market

I first started purchasing this product when looking for new meal accompaniments for my children to try. At 20p for a 400g tin, I thought that it was definitely worth a try as at 20p it wasnt going to break the bank and if my children didnt like then I just simply wouldnt buy it again. Fortunately my children loved it and they now tend to have some of this product every couple of weeks with a jacket potato and this has become one of their favourite meals.

Like other reviewers have previously said, this ravioli is not served in a bolognese type sauce, but instead it is served in a rich tomato sauce which I actually quite like. It is rich and tastes a little sweet but is not overpowering.

The product is easy to prepare and simply requires heating on a hob over a moderate heat for 5 minutes. I then place the ravioli and sauce into the middle of a jacket potato and sprinkle the top with some cheddar cheese. I find this to be a really nice meal, which costs very little and is very easy to prepare. Granted this is not the nicest ravioli out there on the market but at a cost of 20p I think it is great value and the taste and the quality of the product is reflected in the price. As the saying goes "You get what you pay for".

The product does not contain any artificial colours, flavours or hyrogenated fat and the nutritional values for this product per 100g are as follows:
Energy - 317kj/75kcal
Protein - 2.7g
Carbohydrate - 14g
of which sugars - 2.3g
Fat - 0.9g
of which saturates - 0.4g
Fibre 1.3g
Sodium - 0.24g
equivalent as salt - 0.6g

Overall I find this to be a good value product which tastes great served with a jacket potato and a bit of cheese.

Summary: Good value, reasonably tasty product.
