Asda Smartprice Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix

As you all know by now I shop at Asda online and I will always go for the cheapest option first. When it comes to stuffing I can't understand why anyone would pay a huge amount for a packet of Paxo when it just gets dumped on top of your roast dinner. I thought I'd try this stuffing one day and I have stuck to it ever since. The packaging doesn't look very nice but if you can overcome the embarressment of some people looking in your trolley and smirking because you have gone for the cheapest of the cheap then you'll be the one laughing. If it wasn't only 13 pence and didn't have the nastiest packaging typical of Asda Smart Price items, then it could pass for a more expensive brand once it has been prepared! For 85g of stuffing mix this really is a bit of a bargain! As a bit of an experiment I made a batch of these along with a few strays from a Paxo pack I hadn't used all of the mix from and my husband and I could not tell the difference between them.
