Asda Smartprice Strawberry Cheesecake

Description: A biscuit base topped with soft cheese and strawberry sauce.

Newest Review: ... much fruit in the topping and as I am not keen on tinned fruit, I found other cheesecakes very off putting. With these though ... more

... there is just a strawberry sauce, which is actually very tasty, not too sweet not too tart, just right. There's a nice biscuit base but it could be a bit more crunchy, but not bad at all, there's a decent amount for a small tub too. I also quite like the soft cheese bit, it all tastes really well together. I like to get a bit of everything on the spoon, so that it all mingles together, my partner on the other hand likes to eat in layer by layer!! I find it a bit dry like that though! Overall a great item to hav...more

Smartprice Strawberry Cheesecake... One of those Asda 'smart-priced' things that found its way into my trolley, but unlike some this is one that I now buy on every shop. Size, Packaging... You can pretty much see what your getting as the 'smart price' no frills packaging consists of a transparent plastic tub with a peel off tin foil type top. Normal cheesecake really...strawberry stuff on the top creamy white stuff in the middle and then the biscuity bottom layer. The round tub is about the size of your average tea mug and about 4cm high. Weight is 90g. I find it to be an ideal serving size - just right though have been ...  Read the complete review

I've always had a soft spot for cheesecake and so when I spotted Asda's Smart Price Strawberry Cheesecake for only 38p whilst out shopping yesterday I simply had to buy one. The cheesecake comes in a small snack-size pot perfect for eating as a pudding after tea, a mid-day snack or before bed. Each pot is transparent and contains 90g of cheesecake. The writing on the pot is green and tells you everything you need to know about the product. It can however be a little difficult to read. The foil lid is green and white (Asda's colours) and so is not particulalry interesting or eye-catching. The fact that the pot allows you to see the cheescake inside is however ...  Read the complete review

Smart Price Strawberry Cheesecake What a lovely dessert to finish off your tea. These little treats cost only 32p each and are delicious. The cheesecake comes within a clear plastic bowl type container. It has a foil lid which is sealed on and when you pull the lip the lid can be removed. This container cannot be resealed. The cheesecake comes only in strawberry flavour, and for us strawberry lovers, it really is a treat. The cheesecake is 90g's and is a crunchy biscuit base topped with soft cheese and strawberry sauce..MMMMM. The cheesecake contains Strawberries (19%), Water, Sugar, Medium Fat Soft Cheese (11%) (Milk), ...  Read the complete review

A packed lunch for me to take to work normally consists of a Sandwich, some juice and a Packet of Crisps. Highly unexciting, but i've never been that good at making somthing that exciting. I decided to make a nicer Lunch and ended up the Chilled individual Mousse/Dessert aisle in Asda. I picked this Cheesecake up for a bargain 35p. This is part of the Asda budget range Smart Price. The product is 90g and this was a good 60p cheaper than the more expensive alternative. This is in a plastic see through tub and you can see all the layers through the tub easily. This has a foil lid and has the colours Green and White on the lid and also on the side of the ...  Read the complete review
