I must admit that I was not expecting much before I opened this, and I was not disappointed. Think of soup. Think of soap. Think of soapy vegetable soup that somebody, for a laugh, has bunged a load of chili powder in and just given it a quick stir. You have then got this sauce. I know it is just supposed to be a base, and a cheap one at that, but it really is foul. It is one of those sauces that you just add meat to, simmer and then serve. I have people who I hate that I would not serve this to. I like to have a bit of flavour in my food and enjoy varying it from day to day so I decided to try making chilli and went out to get some Chilli Sauce. I don't normally Asda Smartprice as I much prefer Tesco's Value or Sainsbury's Basics, I find they are a lot better quality than Asda and tend to be cheaper as well. I've had a few too many bad products from Asda to make me want to shop there but when we went away on holiday it was the only nearby supermarket so I had no choice but to shop there.
