Disadvantages: Too sweet, not anough tomato content and too runny!

Asda smart price range does have many good products in it but this tomato ketchup is not one of them.

I love a drop of ketchup on my chips from time to time and as I am the only one in my house that eats it I decided to economise and try the Smart price one instead of my beloved Heinz.

The first time I used it was also my last, there is a distinct sweetness to it that the Heinz one does not have and it also much thinner and runs of the chips somewhat rather than hanging on in giant droplets as the Heinz brand does.

If you check the ingredients of both you will see that the asda on has a smaller tomato content that the Heinz brand and it is infinitely evident too. I would recommend Heinz over this every time even though it is more than twice the price, with a bottle of the smart price stuff costing only 25p.

You may perhaps get away with giving this to kids but if you have a taste for the Heinz tomato ketchup then this will never do for you!

Summary: Just not good!!
