Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Taste Bag
I so actually put tomato sauce on everything.
Sandwiches
Chips
Lasagne
Meat
Cheese on toast
Etc....
I find that it can often lift the flavour out of food. I did not like this tomato ketchup. I have never thought that tomato sauce has ever tasted like tomatos but I found it to be rather sour, with a strong vinegar flavour. The bottle I purchased was 554g.
I eat so much sauce that I thought I'd give a cheaper version a go, but I will not do that again. It comes in a glass bottle. I prefer sauce in a squeeze bottle. Normally sauce in a glass bottle you have to hit it a few times for it to come out. This sauce just dripped out. Showing it is weaker in consistency than other brands. If you want a small blob be careful as your plate could be covered in the stuff.
Okay so a serving of 15g contains 13calories, a trace of fat and 2.7g of sugar. So depending on how much you use it is quite a healthy condiment.
It is not the best tasting sauce but for 32p I am saving a whole £1 compared to what I normally use. So if I was shopping on a budget I would give it a go
Summary: The red stuff
