... own-brand confectionary and the regular three for a pound offers they have. These Stripy Strips are belts of multi-coloured soft & chewy sweets with a sour sugary coating. They have a pleasant fruit taste and a mighty sour tangy after taste. You get a decent portion in each packet of about a dozen strips, and they also fill you up quite well! Just make sure you brush your teeth later! The major problem with these is that they can disappear quite quickly from packet to mouth! I would recommend these to Asda shoppe...more

When it comes to sweets, it takes a rather perverse mind to crave adding sour taste to their sweet delight, but I am one of those people. There is something about shocking your taste-buds to the point where your mouth is practically bleeding, and then rewarding it with sugar and sweet taste too. Sour strips have been around in many incantations since I was born, and they used to be 5p each up the corner shop, for simple red or green ones. These days, Asda have got a bit more flashy than that, with these multi-coloured ones, which are basically the same thing. Part of the 3 for £1 range, these sour strips are made up of sugary belts that are ...  Read the complete review

After coming back from my holidays to be greeted by the pile of empty sweet packets on my desk I am very proud to say that I am looking at the last one right now and am just about to write a review on it. This packet is one for Asda's Super Sour Stripy Strips and peeling back the sticky note that contains my notes on them I can see that the packet is tall and thin, lime green in colour and has the words Stripy Strips written in block blue capitals in the centre. The front of the packet also has a picture of the colourful strips in question as well as the information that the sweets are free from artificial colours and flavourings. Turning over the packet I can ...  Read the complete review

I love sweets and as I have mentioned in previous reveiws, at the weekend me and the boyfriend buy a little feast to enjoy with a good DVD, last weekend we decided to cut down on our spending on sweets, so we decided to go to ASDA and see what sweets they had on offer. Asda Super Sour Stripy Strips are part of the 3 packets of sweets for £1 offer, or just sold for 36p (approx) separately I think that this is a great price for a packet of sweets and so I just couldnt resist the savings. Asda Super Sour Stripy Strips are multicoloured belt type sweets that are made up of different colours, red ,green, yellow and orange. They are coated ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to sweets in our house, me and my daughter love to have something sour and fizzy so were instantly attracted to these when we saw them. Because we like sweets a lot in our house, I usually buy the ASDA ones. I often use the three for £1 deal, buying two packets for me and my daughter and a packet for my son. Individually, a packet of these sweets costs just 37p. They have a fruity flavour with a coating of really sour sugar on them. They do make your cringe however you eat them, rolled up and in one or nibbled from tip to top. nutritional information per 100g: Energy KJ 1478 Protein 0.6 Available ...  Read the complete review

For sweetie fans, the confectionery aisle in your local Asda is like an Alldan's cave of affordable treats, waiting to tempt the sweet-toothed shopper into a trolley full of sugary naughtiness! Of course, these need to be hidden at the bottom of your trolley underneath the healthy foods, salads, bottled water etc! The price of these is 37p per 70g packet or 3 for £1.00 if brought whilst on offer. My tastes are simple; if it is sweet, I love it! I especially like sour sweets and Asda are great because of the variety of own-brand confectionary and the regular three for a pound offers they have.
