Asda Tiger Bread

Description: Freshly baked.

... soup, but it also goes well with most things, and makes a fabulous bacon sandwich. I have tried loads of tiger breads as I buy it quite frequently, but the Asda one is, in my opinion, the best that there is. The inside is fluffy and fresh, the outside chewy and tasty, exactly what good tiger bread should be. This is an excellent bread for all the family, so treat yourself to some today, and hopefully you will get it while it is still warm - yumm!...more

Premium Review Asda Tiger Bread: get another pound back with every loaf (on your thighs!!) (543 words)

We are all big fans of tiger bread in our house. Even my four year old son shouts across the bakery isle "Dont forget the tiger bread mam". It is his most favourite thing and he would rather have a chunk of that with jam than a bar of chocolate. Asdas bake the bread in the instore bakery. Therefore as soon as you walk in to the store the smell of warm bread hits you. Me and my hubby are like the bisto kids following the smell around the isles. Every time we go shopping i lay down the law "We are not to have tiger bread this time because we are all going to get fat." However as soon as i enter that store I know that there will be a loaf in our ...  Read the complete review

I thought I would write a review on Asda Tiger bread as it is a very big hit in our house and it is an essential on every weeks shopping list! I have tried other supermarkets tiger bread but you cannot beat Asda's version for taste! Especially if you can drop on when they have just baked a new batch and it is still warm! M favourite meal is homemade leek and potato soup with tiger bread and butter mmm, that is a nice winter tummy warming supper! What's also great is that you can buy it in two different sizes: Sizes and Price: The bigger 800G loaf costs £1.00 or the smaller 400g loaf can be purchased for 67p or 2 for ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Tiger Bread: Roooooooar! (379 words)

I love Tiger Bread and think the Asda one is the best one out of all the supermarkets because it's always proper fresh. It's called a tiger loaf because of the stripes on the top crust. The crust is lovely and crunchy and the bread inside is soft and fluffy but my mum reckons it's too doughy for her so she doesn't eat it that often. I love the smell of tiger bread and the way it fills the kitchen with the smell when you've got a loaf in the bread bin. It can get a bit sickly though and when I had tonsillitis last month we had to throw nearly a full loaf away because the smell of it kept making me cough and that killed my throat even ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tiger Bread! (640 words)

Tiger Bread has of late become a staple in our house, and something that you will always find in the cupboard or sitting on the bench, definitely in the shopping bags when we return from Asda. Although we had tried it a few times before as a quick snack, or to dip in oil on a slightly Mediterranean themed night, we'd never really bought it again, just buying it on occasion until last month. Also, we had originally bought it in the form 'tigger bread,' as my younger brother loves the character tigger, but there is no difference its just the name, a picture on the packet and of course a much higher price for the same bread! Anyway, last month we were doing our ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Tiger Bread: Tiger Bread - Hard not to have the full loaf! (403 words)

One thing we need to clear first is this bread is addictive! If you have a weak spot for bread and you have the motto "one more slice won't hurt" this may not be the loaf for you as it can easily go in one day (not speaking from personal experience of course *ahem*) If I get a tiger loaf, I will always get it from Asda. You tend to get tiger bread from any supermarket which has it's own instore bakery but none of the others seem to match up to Asda's. You can buy a tiger loaf in Asda in two different sizes. I tend to go for the smaller one simply so I don't end up eating a full one! The small loaf is around 67p but they do have a ...  Read the complete review
