Advantages: Great taste and soft texture
Disadvantages: So mourish that always want another slice
Tiger Bread is a bread that that ASDA and many other stores produce within their own in house bakery, although ASDA's version is the only one that I enjoyed.
I first discovered when shopping in ASDAs one day and being near the bakery section, the first thing that I knew about the bread was the smell. As the bread is baked in store, you get the sweat smell, as it is freshly baked. The only problem is the smell does attract a small crowd, as they know the bread is almost ready; because of this the bread is regularly baked throughout the day.
The loaf itself has a brown crust on the outside, while giving texture when being eaten does not make the crush hard. On the inside of the bread, is the soft, light and fluffy centre. What this does is create a great texture and taste for when it is eaten.
What I enjoy about this tiger bread is the many ways that the bread can be eaten. The best way is to either eat the bread plain or with a tiny bit of butter as nothing else needs to be added to enjoy it.
One of the only problems that I have with the bread is that is so morish that you always want another slice. This can often mean that the bread is very quickly eaten. On the odd ocassion that the whole loaf is not consumed, it also makes good bread for toasting.
I would recommend this bread, as I believe that you will never another brand of bread that is as good as this.
Summary: One of the best breads you will ever have

- 26/06/09 The picture of the bread at the top isn't nothing like how the tiger bread from Asda looks! It is delicious though. Good review. |
