I love Tiger Bread and think the Asda one is the best one out of all the supermarkets because it's always proper fresh.

It's called a tiger loaf because of the stripes on the top crust. The crust is lovely and crunchy and the bread inside is soft and fluffy but my mum reckons it's too doughy for her so she doesn't eat it that often.

I love the smell of tiger bread and the way it fills the kitchen with the smell when you've got a loaf in the bread bin. It can get a bit sickly though and when I had tonsillitis last month we had to throw nearly a full loaf away because the smell of it kept making me cough and that killed my throat even worse!

It's easy to slice because the crust isn't too thick and that helps the knife go through it properly without it falling to pieces but you get loads of crumbs so your best to slice it on a big plate!

I like mine with butter or for a cheese sandwich because the taste goes well with the cheese but you have to make sure you cut the cheese thick or you won't be able to taste it over the strong flavour of the bread. It's nice with roast beef and horseradish sauce as well because the bread goes good with the meat and hot taste of the horseradish.

It's wicked dunked in stew or thick soup as well but I don't think it's that good toasted because it browns too quick under the grill and that takes a lot of the flavour of it away.

A big loaf costs about 89p and it doesn't keep very well so you're best to make sure you know it's going to be eaten before you buy it or else it will just be wasted because it goes rock hard overnight. You used to be able to buy smaller loaves but I haven't seen those recently and you can get cobs but they are always hard even when you buy them so we don't bother with those.

A wicked loaf though and deffo one I recommend to everyone.
