Advantages: Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, Lovely

Disadvantages: Can go stale quickly

Asda Tiger Bread is an uncut loaf which has noticeable stripes on the top, hence the name Tiger Bread. This is one of my all time favourite loaves and is delicious on its own or served with a nice hot soup or as a sandwich.

The first time i tried this bread was when i saw the lady from the bakery section bring out a fresh batch, straight from the oven. As she put it on the shelf a hoard of people ascended on it like locusts. I knew then i had to try it because common sense tells you it has to be good if people have hidden round corners in Asda waiting to pounce at the sheer smell of it.

Tiger Bread has olive oil in it and it is crusty on the outside, and deliciously soft on the inside. On cutting it does become very crumbly but i warn you, it is so addictive. One taste and you will never look back.

The bread does not stay fresh for long though and if left more than a day, it will go very hard, which is not the way this bread is meant to be eaten.

A wonderful flavoured bread, highly recommended.

Summary: Fabulously delicious bread
