Asda Tiger Bread Description: Freshly baked. My local Asda is in Blyth in Northumberland and they really do have an excellent store, the staff are lovely and helpful and there is also an in store bakery where you can buy freshly baked breads. A 400g bread cost me £0.67 and you can also buy 800g sizes. It is ... Read the complete review

Asda Tiger Bread Description: Freshly baked. The bigger 800G loaf costs around £1.00 and a smaller 400g loaf costs around £0.70, these breads can often be found on offer too so keep your eyes peeled for deals. You can freeze this bread if you need to, though in our house, it never lasts long enough to do so! One ... Read the complete review

We are all big fans of tiger bread in our house. Even my four year old son shouts across the bakery isle "Dont forget the tiger bread mam". It is his most favourite thing and he would rather have a chunk of that with jam than a bar of chocolate. Asdas bake the bread in the instore bakery. Therefore as soon as you walk in to the ... I thought I would write a review on Asda Tiger bread as it is a very big hit in our house and it is an essential on every weeks shopping list! I have tried other supermarkets tiger bread but you cannot beat Asda's version for taste! Especially if you can drop on when they have just baked a new batch and it is still warm! M ... Asda's Tiger Bread is absolutly delicious. It's freshly made in store and at 67p for a 400g loaf and £1 for an 800g loaf the price is perfect. You can also get these loaves sliced in store free and they do the medium and thick slices. I would definatly recommend you get it sliced in store because this bread is so fresh it just squashes ... Asda Tiger Bread is an uncut loaf which has noticeable stripes on the top, hence the name Tiger Bread. This is one of my all time favourite loaves and is delicious on its own or served with a nice hot soup or as a sandwich. The first time i tried this bread was when i saw the lady from the bakery section bring out a fresh batch, ... Read the complete review

I love Tiger Bread and think the Asda one is the best one out of all the supermarkets because it's always proper fresh. It's called a tiger loaf because of the stripes on the top crust. The crust is lovely and crunchy and the bread inside is soft and fluffy but my mum reckons it's too doughy for her so she doesn't eat it that ... Read the complete review

Following on from my crumpet review I'd also like to tell you about my tiger bread sandwich I had today. You know that noise Homer Simpson makes when he sees something tasty? Sort of like a contented gurlging noise? THAT'S the noise I make when I walk past this in the ASDA bakery. Where to begin with this....if anyone here HASN'T had ... Read the complete review

Tiger Bread has of late become a staple in our house, and something that you will always find in the cupboard or sitting on the bench, definitely in the shopping bags when we return from Asda. Although we had tried it a few times before as a quick snack, or to dip in oil on a slightly Mediterranean themed night, we'd never really bought it again, ... Read the complete review

Tiger bread is a product which I'm completely undecided as to whether I like it or not. I always have to check the loaves at Asda before choosing one. If the bottom of the loaf is black they taste absolutely foul, but if it's cooked right it's a lovely tasting soft bread. Tiger bread is made with seasame oil, and has a ... Read the complete review

One thing we need to clear first is this bread is addictive! If you have a weak spot for bread and you have the motto "one more slice won't hurt" this may not be the loaf for you as it can easily go in one day (not speaking from personal experience of course *ahem*) If I get a tiger loaf, I will always get it from Asda. Tiger Bread is a bread that that ASDA and many other stores produce within their own in house bakery, although ASDA's version is the only one that I enjoyed. I first discovered when shopping in ASDAs one day and being near the bakery section, the first thing that I knew about the bread was the smell. As the bread is baked in store, you ... A welcome change to traditional bread or buns, ASDA Tiger bread is a delicious, crusty loaf baked with sesame oil and rice paste which cracks in the oven forming the aesthetically pleasing rough striped pattern on the top, hence the name; Tiger bread. Yummy Asda Tiger bread, I wondered where it got it's strange name from. This well loved white bloomer originated in the Netherlands where it is called Tijgerbood with its distinctive markings. It was introduced to England by Asda a few years ago and it is certainly not and endangered species. Once the other supermarkets found out how good it was, ... Read the complete review

Adsa tiger bread is one of the breads asda bake in store, the smell of fresh tiger bread is amazing. The price of tiger bread is great 70p for 800g. This is one thing I buy every time I go to asda, well I normally buy 2 as one does end up making it home, I have three children and a husband who are mad on the stuff as well as me. Tiger bread is'nt exclusive to Asda, but it seems to stock it more often than the other major supermarkets and i think Asda's version is probably the tastiest. Tiger bread is usually only found in the in-store bakery section, it just wouldnt work if it was pre-packaged. Recently i purchased two 400g loaves for £1 in Asda, a great deal ... I have always liked getting fresh bread from the supermarket and usually get one as a treat at the weekend. In the past, we've had normal crusty bread and the hedgehog loaf. But recently, we've come across the tiger bread, as it was on offer. After tasting it, in my opinion, I believe it to be the nicest fresh bread from the ... Read the complete review

Fresh bread is absolutely one of my favourite foods but alas this Asda Tiger Bread (or Tiger Chest as they are now calling it) really doesn't make the grade as far as I am concerned. In fact most of the fresh bread offered at my local Asda store really isn't all that good either. If I have no other choice of purchasing my bread anywhere ... Read the complete review

Tiger bread taste really different to other bread, but its definatly good different! It's become available in lots of different shops recently (I'm thinking there is some sort of tiger bread revolution going on) but Asda's is by far the greatest! Firstly, the taste.
