Advantages: a popular and classic confectionary item

Disadvantages: sickly, melt easily, doesn't taste of chocolate, stale-tasting.

As far as pick'n'mix goes, White chocolate ch mice are generally considered a favourite, despite not tasting of white chocolate at all. The sickly sweet flavour mean that they often end up in the bottom of the bag when the buyer is finished. Even those with a sweet tooth will probably agree that it is difficult to enjoy more than one or two of them, and it certainly doesn't help that they tend to have quite a stale taste, and frequently melt in the bag, and stick to the sides, resulting in a sickly chewy papery snack...Yum.

Often in pic'n'mix areas, the bag has to be weighed to determine the cost, and since white mice are rather heavy for such a low-quality product, they are not good value for money.

Whilst I acknowledge that they are a classic piece of confectionary, I have never really considered White Mice at length, and am now baffled at the design, mainly the thinking behind 'eating mice.'

Summary: Too sickly to enjoy in large quantities.
